Diagnostic tips?
I blew up something in the rear at the track.
Are there any things I can do to test whether it's an output shaft or a main input shaft?
Off the ground the passenger wheel spins but not the driver. There is 0 resistance spinning either way on the driver side even while the passenger wheel is spinning in gear.
If you try to stop the passenger tire while in gear you can't. If you hold the tire and then throw it into gear the wheel won't turn you get a faint clicking sound.
I was having some issues with the diff all night but it seems both wheels spun the last run.
I have 0 leaks and I can go in and out of gear only when using the clutch and I can hear a change in the speed of the noise. Axles feel tight but I haven't pulled the wheel yet just a quick yank
Any tips or trick before I pull it apart will be nice. I am going to have to rent a lift at a local shop to make my life easy
