Default Need help choosing Rings and bearings, please.

Hi,
I have a ls2 440ci with ls7 heads and intake, big cam. It made 570 rwhp. Its a N/A engine.
I am going to pull it out and install new rings and bearing and what ever it need upon inspection. I'm not sure what all is in it because I bought this C5 z06 with this engine in it.
It is street driven and also gets 1/4 mile and road coarse use.

What Rings and Bearing would you recommend? How about Head gaskets? Its 12:1 CR.
I want the good stuff. Anything else you would recommend while I'm in there would be appreciated. I was thinking of also going with the CTS-v race lifters.

Thanks!

Clevite bearings

The rings will be determined by who's pistons are in there.

Cometic gaskets but you'll need to measure what you take out to maintain the CR. Cometic makes head gaskets in many thicknesses and bore sizes.

Morel Link Bar lifters are the best out there and you can throw the lifter buckets in the trash. You'll need shorter pushrods since the cups sit about .050 higher than GM lifters. Stay away from the CTS-V Racing lifters. There are made for much lighter valve trains than we run. I pulled a set after a couple got noisy and I know a lot of other people who have done the same.

Good info WKMCD! I like the Morel lifter but they sure are pricy (all most $600)or maybe I was looking wrong ones. Is that what you are running?
Are the LS7 lifters good or is there something in between LS7 and Morel? I take it that the link is far better. I see some guys say they are really noisy.
My engine rev to 7000 rpm.

Thank you!

Look at the Lunati link bar lifters. They are made by Morel but are less expensive and also very good. FWIW: Mine aren't noisy.

While you have the motor out you might want to put a remote oil pressure sending unit kit on it. If it ever goes out it'll be a lot easier to fix.

Looks like there street performance lifters omly have a maximum operating range of 6200-6500 RPM for $375. They are listed for ls1-ls2-ls6How can they work in these engines when they rev higher then 6500 stock.
The hight RPM set is $735
