Default Power bleed clutch

Has anyone used a Motive power bleeder to bleed the clutch system?

There are a couple places where it says you can use it on clutch systems:

However I called them to see what adapter to buy for the clutch reservoir. The guy told me they don't offer them for clutches. Lol.
I'm basically turning it over to my expert friends.
What say you?

Last I checked, they did not have an adapter available. I understand that they will be happy to build one for you, if you send them a sample of your reservoir cap. I don't recall what the fee is for this service, however.

If JWM sent a couple dozen caps to Motive for modification, I'd wager he wouldn't have too much trouble selling them; nudge, nudge, wink, wink.

Yes. Two of us got the bright idea that we could make an aluminum cap, which we did (see pics below). We measured and measured, cut a scrap cap and measured again, took replicas of the threads and measured again. Then we took the info to a friend that owns a machine shop and had two prototypes made. Well, we thought if we could get the unit cost down we could sell them. Unit cost, even with a run of 1000 was going to be $30 each. So we paid for the protos and gave up the idea. Forget about making them of plastic. You would have to make a run of 30,000 to get the unit cost under $12 each. We just didn't think anyone would pay $50 each or more (a little for our time too) for something like this.

Then there's the C6 cap, it is different, so any hope of having one to fit all late model 'Vettes was out too.

That being said, the cap works like a champ. You only need about 5 psi to bleed the system and it is fast.
