VIN locations?
Did a search and couldn't find too much.
I'm looking at a car and I know the vin is on the left side of the dash, and stamped in the forward right frame rail.
I am under the impression it is stamped somewhere else as well. Am I correct?

On my '01, I have found the VIN stamped on the aft face of the frame's front cross member. I needed an inspection mirror to see it with the hood open. It looks identical to the stamping on the inside of the right front frame rail that the OP mentions

Pete, it's hit or miss, more often a miss towards the 2004 MY
the vin is etched on the front frame bar aft of the upper bumper support and the RHS frame a few inches back from the the 'face' of the frame
Those are the ONLY 2 spots on the frame I have seen the VIN
