Fuel Gauge Issues
Guys i am having issues with my fuel gauge, the tank would be full, but the dash is only showing right before the half mark.
I am also getting the gauge drop thing and getting P2066 code when it does that.
I have had this issue before and now i upgraded to a new dual pumps in tank with new assembly from Lonnies Performance and thought that would fix the issue but still the same issue
where would i start on this?

Thanks for your reply, i am aware of the C5 fuel gauge problems, but what i don't understand is that i put in a new fuel level sensor in the driver side and still get the same reading when i fill her up and lately i am getting this code P2066 which's for the pass side. I just want the thing to work as it suppose to.
No my car doesn't run out of fuel after 7 or 8 gallons when i have filled the tank, also we don't have techrone in this part of the world

Thanks for the reply, yes that how i thought the system worked, you thingk changing the fuel level sensor in the pass side would fix my issue?
The only fuel system cleaner we have i think is the STP.

i started getting the P0463 DLC with erratic Fuel Gauge readings. I have used 3 bottles of the Techron Fuel System Cleaner over the past 1500 miles but to no avail. Is my next step to replace the Fuel Pump? $500...ouch...corvette tax. Any write ups on dropping the tanks and replacing for a 2004 Z06? Any other recommendations of things to try first?

i had a problem on my 2001. i added a small bottle of Techron to an almost empty tank. after driving less than 2 miles, the gauge started working properly. that was 3 years ago and i've never had another problem. And i have not added any more Techron. i was never a believer of additives before trying this.
