Can't clear 1247C code
I have a problem with my 99 Corvette. I had the rear brake rotors off to adjust the parking brake (brake lines stayed connected).
After reassembling, I drove off forgetting to pump the brakes, so when I did pump the brakes on the moving car.... the brakes eventually adjusted themselves and started acting normal but I am now getting the C1247 C code, which disables the Active Handling and Traction Control. I leaned how to delete codes on the DIC but the 1247 c, code pops right back. I found the code in my service manual and determined that the differential pressure switch is operating, by disconnecting the switch.
After checking that, the service manual says to verify the hydraulic brake system is operating and not leaking. I did that, so now what? My sense is that the brakes are fine, but the electronics somewhere is causing the code to reappear.
I have a feeling that this forum has more experts than my local chevy dealer so, are there any suggestions?
