Can the top be buffed out for hazing on a C5

Good luck, mine had micro cracks in the lexan so from inside looking out, it looked like broken safety glass.. I sanded it down and painted it black and will be putting a Carbon Fiber wrap on it this summer. I purchased another lexan top that was never used so now I can have a solid one for winter (the old with Carbon wrap) and my new lexan for summer... I'll post pictures when I start that project..
