Blackwing 1/4 mi. improvement?
Okay, I know everyone gets tired of the intake questions, but with the sale on the blackwing and the PRO-flow not being available, could someone tell me how much gain they got in the 1/4 on an otherwise stock car?

Hi there.
I didn´t see any big improvemens, perhaps 0.10 sec.
I measure my times with a G-Tech, i think it isn´t absolutly 100% accurate but it seems to be 0.10 to 0.20 sec faster.
My best time with the Blackwing on the street with run flats is 12.92.
Before Blackwing : 13.05 - 13.15
But the SOTP feeling is GREAT! :D
My car now shifts faster and at higher rpm:s.
It pulls really harder after 4500 and the car feels more responsive!
Buy one, i promise you won´t regret it. :yesnod:

I gained about 4mph in the 1/4 mi. I also dropped by 13.75 to 13.37, but most of that was due to improving on my launches. I think the mph is more indicative of the additional flow of the Blackwing. By the way, my best is a 13.37 @ 108.9

Ran the car once on a good track with only 800 miles on her =13.28.
After with magnaflow and blackwing on a poor track 13.13 with spinning
the tires. I would say probably worth 2 tenths if conditions were the same.

I think the estimates here of .1 to .2 seconds are accurate. Get cold air cover for the blackwing, some Z06 screens, or cold air intake like a Vortex or a Haltech and I think you can expect .3 or better. I went from 13.33 to 12.97 with my cold air intake.
