Best Intake Mod?
Which intake mod do you guys recommend for a '01 C5? I've heard a few things about the Halltech, but I'm not too familiar with Vette induction and what is all out there to choose from. Bone stock C5 and I'm looking for the best air flow and hp gain. Any help appreciated!

I have the RM racing twin flow, Vortex Powerduct, and GMS MAF. I love it a lot, total cost is around $800.
Don't forget headers and exhaust to get maxium hp out of those intake mods!

The best intake $ for $ is the Donaldson 210-225.00 DONT SPEND 800.00
on an intake that may LOOSE you HP!!!! There are better than R&m but enough said.The donaldson will add 18-22 rear wheel HP is only 225.00 <Max. and there is no cutting and any one can install it in 5-15 minutes.
If you want to spend 800+ I can help you but I would rather sell you the right parts for years to come,and we have sold and installed well over 1000

blackwing is just a larger air filter but does not supply "cold" air to the intake as does the vortex rammer. You just have to decide if you want to cut your shroud to install it or if you want an easy install.

I wondered about that...the hot air being sucked up - Blackwing seems to resemble the K&N FIPK for the T/A, yet despite the heat concept, the FIPK still makes significant gains.....I've heard something about the box to go around the Blackwing, can you buy a setup like that? :confused:
