2002 Z06 valve spring advice
I was wondering if there were any other changes I should do while I am at it. Replace spark plugs and plug wires? Upgrade to better roller type rockers?
I don't have an unlimited budget (realistically I'll probably have $1,300 to play with) so I can't go all out.
I sent an email to ECS using their "Contact Us" section on their website for an estimate but, have not heard anything back. Does anyone on this site have an idea of what I am looking at from a cost perspective?
Thanks
Give Doug a call in the morning @ 609 752 0321
He will probably suggest plugs, wires, intake/exhaust seal & valve springs.
He set me up with some real nice Manley valve springs, when I did my change out a couple years ago.

that there is NO reason to mess with the yellow springs and after-
market rockers are usually heavier @ the valve and require dual valve
springs to stave off valve float. If you really need to spend 1300 bucks
I'd call EPS and look into a cam/push rods/spring kit....something like
my 218/226 would run fine on the stock tune and ultimately make 35-
40 more rear wheel horsepower whenever you can afford a dyno-tune.
I also get 30-33 mpgs with a M6/3.42 gear combo
Either the comp 918 or pac 1512 beehive single type.
Change the valve springs before you have a failure
should have probably asked in the z06 subsection, though, since the regular c5 didn't have these issues.
