Ignition Coil Problem P0353, Bad Coil Pack?
Now I'm throwing a Code P0353 Ignition Coil 3 Control Circuit, Ignition Coil C Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction. Anyone have experience with this? Advice? Trying to schedule a Warranty Appy ASAP for the above problems.
What is the resolution? Just replace the coil pack? How are the coil packs #'d? 4 on each side, eh? Are they A,B,C,D,E,F,G,H ??
Anything I can do/check/fix other than replacing the coil packs? Do you replace just 1 or a set of 4?
Anything I should be careful of in the meantime 'til the Appt? Detonation? WOT?
FWIW, this is driver side Coil Pack on Cylinder #3 correct? I think I may swap out the coil pack tonight for a new one.
If I'm running on only 7 cylinders would the PCM throw more codes, or is this all I'll see? This wouldn't be a symptom of a plug wire or something else, eh? Can I trust the code that it's specfically the coil pack? Do I need to check any grounding?
