Default quick V1 question

i just purchased the v1 radar and was wondering how to get the mirro mount, the windsheild suction cups are kinda tacky. thanks

also where to get hardwiring instructions?

As for the suction cups, many people will tell you they are rock steady and would question if you really need a mirror mount. Mine has been on for 12K miles. It's you money and your choice though.

I used the suction cup mount for many years with little problem, except when trying to fix the mount to the COLD windshield. Once the suction cups stick there is no prpblem.

If you go with the Lakes mount make sure you get the model suited for your 2002 C5, not earlier models. The mount for the 2001 and later attaches to the visor bracket not the mirror.

Just like what Justin said, go with the mount from CAU. It's right there on the center with less blockage. You might want to do a hardwire after that to eliminate the dangling cord. I had the cord for awhile though, doesn't seem to be an obstruction at all.
