If I install the transgo will the computer still cut back torque on shifts, so that I might as well not have installed it? Now it feels like I lose about 40 hp every time the damn thing shifts.. :mad
Thanks in advance.
I am currently using a Hypertech Programmer. Therefore, if I have to go to someone to reprogram the PCM, wouldn't those changes overwrite the codes installed by the Hypertech?
Conversely, if I download the stock specs back into the car before having Torque Management removed via the PCM and then reinstall the Hypertech program after the fact, wouldn't that also have some impact on the changes made to remove the torque management?
Well, hate to say it, but Steve Cole's Powerloader diasbles Torque Management. Great product, just don't hold your breath. Mine works wonders on the A4.
