Default What are the options on lowering?

I called a local vette shop (West Coast Corvettes in Placentia, CA) and they said by using the settings on the car, it can only be lowered 0.5" in the front and 1.5" in the rear.

Is this correct? What other otions are there? Is the 0.5"/1.5" even that noticeable?

Yes, it would be noticeable, but I don't think those numbers are right although the shop you mention is pretty credible...so take me with a grain of salt here. I think it can lower about 1.5 in front and .75 in rear. You need aftermarket lowering bolts to go lower in the rear. They cost about $40.

My results are consistent with what WCC told you (within 1/8") lowering to the max on stock bolts.

To get the front down you need to cut or removed the bushings :smash: If you were in the bay area I would be glad to help you :chevy

Since lowering with the stock bolts is easy to do, I would try that first before cutting any bushings on the front or adding longer bolts in the rear. You can always go to the next step if you want to go even lower. Mine was lowered as much as the stock bolts would allow. See my sig.

Thanks guys. Looks like I'llbe lowering as far as the stock bolts will allow.

Wickedvette: That's a wicked vette :) Yours has the wheel and exhaust setup I'll be installing.
