Tuner is advising a smaller cam.....Thoughts?

Pretty much a waste of time unless you need the driveability to be better or you want to have more fun at lower rpms. A medium sized cam will probably perform better through the curve, but don't expect a miracle.
You said you already like how the car sounds and drives, so why switch? A 233/239 cam isn't THAT big.
For the cost of swapping a cam (if doing labor yourself) you are halfway to ported 243s from AI. You will pick up 40-50 HP with a head swap. With a smaller cam, you will lose some peak and pick up some mid range, but it probably won't be that noticeable.
