Borla stingers do they eliminate-
I have the SLP Loudmouths w/ magnaflow x-pipe do they eliminate the Motorboat sound. I hear that damn motorboat all of the time and would like to eliminate them and lower a couple of db's if I could. Anyone also know if they are quieter that SLP's? Thanks :)

I heard that sound clip and you can hear a definite motorboat sound with the corsa's but the stinger I could not tell. It did not appear to have the motorboat sound . So if anyone that has the stingers could chime in? Thanks :D

I'm pretty sure I know what you mean by a motorboat sound. I have the Stingers I don't hear any such sounds. I also do not have an X-pipe yet, which should eliminate most burbles and pops. The Stingers do occasionally burble on decelleration (usually when the system is cold) but I don't think that is the motorboat sound you are refering to. The Stingers are near silent on idle and low very low rpm speeks. :seeya

Yes the motorboat sound to me is like a boat inside the water and you hear the exhaust gases hitting the water or as if the exhaust is halfway submerged in water. You can hear it on the corsa in that link. Thanks for all of your replies. Lee :hat

I have the Stingers with a Corsa X-Pipe. My Corsa Touring did have the motor boat sound but the Stingers do not. Very nice sound..... very nice!
