Default Training TPMS system on a C5

I've got one TPMS sensor that seems to be off a bit. When following the steps and using the magnet approach, can I train only the sensor that seems to be off or do I need to do all four starting with the LF going clockwise? Three of the sensors are perfectly matched with an external tire pressure gauge but the LR does not match up with the gauge by 6+ lbs.....thanks for the in put......RC

Training does not calibrate the sensors. It only matches them to the car. Retraining will not correct incorrect readings. If they were trained out of order, for example starting with the wrong one instead of lf, the dash display may say your rr is low when it's actually another tire. So check pressure in all four and if they are all correct and one readout is wrong, retraining will do nothing for you. A new sensor is in your future in that case.

Make sure you drive the car after changing air pressure before you assume it's incorrect.

Thanks 65GGVert.........I sorta suspected that. My sensors are 10 years old so I'm probably on borrowed time anyways........great looking ride 65...RC

The usual failure mode when the batteries give out is for XXX or 0 to be displayed for the bad sensor. From the way it sounds you should do like suggested above. Check all of the tire pressures since the car may not be programmed to the sensors in the correct order.
