Default Stuck horn!!!

Ok so after i put together my dash from replacing the Ac blend doors, I decided to put a new battery in it. When i went to put on the positive connection the horn went off and kept going until i disconnected the cable. I ended up pulling the fuse for the horn just for it to stop. I left it that way for about an hour and tried again, same thing happened!! I left the fuse in and hit the horn a few times and it stopped, however 2 seconds later the horn went a blasting all by its self again.

the car has been sitting for 6 years and hasn't been moved, started, or anything!

How do i fix this, is it a common problem after letting it sit for so long?

I don't think it is the membrane unless it just deteriates after time not being used. When we had the A\c problem there wasn't a problem with the horn, but after 6 years of nothing there's a problem with it.
Something doesn't make sense.

I don't know what you're basing your deduction on, but the membrane is a known problem that causes just what you are seeing.
