Maybe someone has had a similiar experience. I have 70k on the stock clutch in my 99 FRC. When trying to shift from 2-3 or 3-4 at WOT the car shifts into gear, but when I let the clutch back out the rpms stay in one spot and the car revs. The rpms do begin to climb but not without that hesitation first. The 2-3 shift is not as bad as the 3-4 shift. Is the clutch starting to wear down? Or is this another issue all together?
could be the clutch, throwout bearing, slave cylinder, or pressure plate. Have you tried to bleed the system?
I have not tried to bleed the system yet. All I have done is the ranger method of cleaning clutch fluid a couple times. Could that have caused air to get into the system somehow?
Or... have you recently changed your rear differential fluid, without
the proper additive or doing the proper procedure to distribute the fluid
as in a few slow (figure 8's??)

I have not changed the diff fluid, but it is on my list of things to do. Gonna go with Amsoil. I have no record of it ever being changed so it getting done.
I knew this day was coming. I guess I am just in denial and needed to hear it from someone else The car is progressively getting harder to take off smoothly from a stop as well.
