Looking at picking up a set of these in the near future, seems like a good deal. I have heard of some fitment issues though. Some say they hit the steering shaft under hard cornering, others say they fit fine. Checking to see if anyone can speak to this?
i have the older style mild steel ceramic coated ones from TSP. the new stainless are supposedly exactly the same shape/size/
the passengers side dropped right in
the drivers side required me to take off the coil packs and valve cover as well as remove the steering shaft. After that there hasnt been any issues
We've shipped 50 sets out in the last couple months with no complaints on fit that I've heard. It's very similar to our old design that was ceramic coated.

I'll most likely grab a set from you guys in the next month or so. I have always had great experiences with you guys' products and customer service. My old car had pacesetters and a 228r from you guys.
On a side note, I met one of you guys (can't remember who) in ABQ over at Solid Tech a few years back.
For the passenger side, I had to pull the coils and valvecover. The header dropped in from the top with virtually no issue. On the driver's side, I moved the alternator, pulled the coils off, and went up from the bottom. Had no issues hitting steering shaft or anything else for that matter.
X-pipe was the most challenging part of the install...had a hell of a time getting the X-pipe to slide onto the header outlets, even with each header left loose. Took a pry bar and some muscle to finally get it on there. I will say that the connector pipes that hook up to the axle-back part of the exhaust (stock Tis, in my case), did line up perfectly and looked great.
I took some pics of the headers, x-pipes, and welds that I'll get up with a brief synopsis on my install experience soon. Let me know if you have any questions...I deleted the AIR pump at the same time as the header install as well...
Ive had mine a few years and I have no complaints. They fit perfect and i think they cant be beat for the price. Theyre helping me make 470rwhp and 455rwtq on a cam only LS3 in my C5.
