Well... new pump is in, and I've gone ahead & buttoned everything up (dash, door panels, fuse panels etc.) Of course it "appears" to be running fine now... but it has done that before & after a couple of days starts acting up again... I'm going to drive it for a few days before even thinking of returning it to my customer. I know how almost all of us have had the dealer "fix" something & when we go to pick it up... not get home before it shows not fixed properly.
Ok, after 24 hours of trouble free test drives the car threw the Crank Position Sensor performance code while driving last night... picked up a new one on the way back to the shop, will install & run the learn process w/ my Tech 2 today.
I had tested the wiring to the sensor when I had the PCM out a week ago & the sensor is pretty hard to test when hot. I'll also be sticking a clean finger in the hole to make sure the reluctor ring isn't wiggling on the crank.
Ok... so 2000 & older does NOT require a CKS relearn, swap is easy enough, idle learn & fob train (per FSM). Car seems to run fine, no codes other than pull key on occasion which I'm in contact with Compliance, we may need the other version of LCM5 due to timing issues.

The car should run fine...you've practically re-built it
I've also replaced the CPS on my Z06 and so far-so good.
