Hi everyone I apologize if this topic has been covered extensively but I just got my first Corvette a couple days ago and I'm still learning everything.
I have a 1999 vette and I'd like to be able to turn on fog lights and parking lights during the day. This also includes the head lights, I've disabled the twilight setting but I still cannot operate fog lights or headlights unless it is dark with the twilight setting on. So I'm not sure why that is, this isn't a Canadian model, any input would be appreciated before I seek out a GM Technician.
During the day, your daytime running lights should automatically turn on. I also have the twilight turned off, which I personally prefer. To turn on the parking lights, just rotate the end of the turn signal lever. The first position will turn on the parking and rear lights, the second will turn on the headlights. To turn on the fog lights, turn the parking lights on, and push the button on the left of your steering column, just above the trunk release.

I understand that and that's what I've tried but the head lights and fog lights still do not turn on.

The lights working only in twilight mode is a classic indication of a faulty multifunction switch (turn signal lever). Its been reported many times if you search.
