Default 04Z Seat upgrade help

I am looking to upgrade my seats to something that will work for road trips and HPDE's w/harness. I am 5' 10" w/38" waist 210lbs. We have no one who stocks seats in the area and reluctant to order with out a recommendation from some users. Any thoughts on trying to find a set of sports seats, they at least have a slot for the harness? Have checked with local club no luck so far.
Thanks

The Sport seats suck as much as the base seat with regards to performance driving....Corbeau A4's are the budget choice for what you want...after that start looking at Apsis or Carravaggio.

I have the Bimarco Futuras in my daily driver and love them, but I have a Vert...would not recommend them for a coupe or Z daily driver....the hip bolster is too high for getting in and out of a car with a roof.

For a fixed back seat they are very comfortable though.

We're they uncomfortable, or just tight....tight is good for performance driving, uncomfortable not so much lol

I'm 6'2", 240 with a 38 inch waste, and liked the A4...but I went with a fixed back seat for more support because I bend the car hard around curves nearly everyday.

What's your budget?

This will determine what's available to you really.

Most of the seat websites give the measurement specs...if you have a baseline like the A4's that you sat in you can look at the measurement specs at the different websites to to try and find something with a wider base than the A4's...but the problem becomes finding a seat that's wide enough for your *** but small enough to fit in the C5 seat tunnel.

I believe the sport seat uses the same frame as the standard seat. If you wanted, you could buy sport seat foam and covers and use on your frames.
