Just picked up my 1999 Torch Red Corvette Coupe A4 from Brad's Custom Auto in Seattle, WA, http://www.bradscustomauto.com/n/nindex.html, for install of FLP Headers (from GP buy with Nate, Extreme Motorsports) and they are great. Fit and finish are top rate. Christian from Brad's Custom Auto had no problem with the install. Brought it in on Monday and had it ready on Wednesday morning. List of other installs were Goodridge SS Brake lines (from Nate), Z06 Stablilizers (from Tom at Fichtner Chevrolet), MSD Spark Plug Wire (from LAPD), NGK TR55 plugs, fuel filter change, coolant change, and brake fluid changed, and AMSOIL in the rear differential. After reading all the problems people had with spark plug wire melt down, Z06 suspension noises, brake line codes thought I would have problems, but after driving in stop and go traffic from Lake City to Tukwila no problems. What I was inpressed were the brakelines. They gave a much firmer feel. The FLP headers with the X-pipe made the exhaust sound more mellow and I felt the system was less noiser. But when you open it up it screams, can feel the added torque or hp or that great SOTP feeling. Brad is impressed with this system and this is a recommended buy. Z06 suspension seems to give the car a better feel and found no difference in ride comfort(have also F45 option). This was a major install of parts so I guess find a good place to have the install done and save yourself the frustration and problems (my opinion).

 

:cheers: I installed the FLP's a few weeks ago with the help of Wt99C5 and they are beautiful. Had a couple of minor fit issues but was a pretty uneventful install. The sound and SOTP feel improvement is excellent.

I'm really glad we did the install ourselves - you learn a heck of a lot about your car when you tackle something like this yourself.

FLP"S RULE specially on LS6 heads,we have them at the lowest price available and yesterday we still actually had a few left in stock.IMHO FLP/Stinger combo and Black wing will make Z06 a very happy Machine!!! Dave

 

Glad to hear the guys at Brad's treated you so well. They are all good guys. They installed my SLP loudmouth and TNT n20 kit. Christian did a great job. I couldn't recommend them more.
