Well I took it to a guy in Virginia today and after we cleared the option in the tech 2 and disconnected the connectors as per the instructions we still had the error. Pulled the battery for 15 minutes and bam, no more codes. Thanks for the advice from everyone, especially Bill and Kale and Patches thanks for the offer. You guys are great as always!

Odd........I had this done by a shop here in FL (Anti-venom) this past year. Magnetic shocks started leaking, and I switched them to Sport Bilsteins.

Vette is a 2003 50th Anniv. convertible.

I changed out the shocks, but needed a shop with the Tech II to reprogram the BCM.

At no time did he need to disconnect the battery (I sat in the car and read him the instructions), and all the memories were not changed.

In otherwords, it worked perfectly, and I am extremely happy with the new shocks.

For those that would rather retain the F55 package, but don't want to spend a ton of money, I have just posted the 3 good shocks for sale in the C5 "classified" section.

I'd rather see someone on the forum, who can use them, end up with them than just post them to Fleabay.

Check under F55 shocks and module in the for sale section.

PS, mine is a 50th Ann. convert also... love the car!

I had the exact same thing happen to me, and I thought it was weird because I had not heard of that happening either. I just took it back and asked them to delete the TS since I never use it. My tuner thought it was weird because he had never seen it happen.

Glad to hear that someone else had the same experience.

My parents always told me that I was "unique"! But not so much.

Hey Ken! This is Doug Orlando from Chandler , AZ.
I just had AAA Auto put these shocks in https://www.ebay.com/itm/285680041378 which were supposed to be F55 compatible but they are not and I have the Maximum 80MPH , where did you go to get the F55 delete?
I bought my 2004 C5 at at Freeway Chevrolet back in 2008. I can hope they will do it, or if there's a better shop here near Chandler, let me know please. Ive been going to AAA auto since dealer cost is so ridiculously high to do anything,
havent trusted any other shop with the Vette yet. maybe you have a recommendation as well.? Hope to meet you someday.
Thanks
I have C5 2004 silver coupe
