P0442 Keeps Popping Up

P0442 Keeps Popping Up
For the last month or so, I've been getting the P0442 code popping up and throwing the CEL. I'd read that this could be the gas cap being loose and when I tighten it, it'll usually go away. I'm not sure if that's coincidence or not though.
Any thoughts on what it could be? It looks like a test to make sure there are no fuel leaks. Does this mean my fuel lines are leaking? Could it be as simple as I need a new gascap?

I think this is one of those simple problems. If you tighten the cap and it goes away, it is likely the cap. Ordering a new cap is probably the best idea and I don't normally advocate throwing parts at a problem.
