TIMING ADVANCE RESISTOR FOR THE MAP SENSOR. HAS ANYONE TRIED THIS?
Has anyone used that little trick with the resistor where you put it into the map sensor wire and it advances the timing. if anyone has tryed please let us now what you think of it and did you do any test runs with it in and out. thanks in advance.

Yes, it definitely works. Typically most people get them at Radio Shack for $0.50 and use a 1/2 Watt, 3.9K Resistor.
But you need to know how to tune your car and make sure your car can handle that much timing in the heat. ie: No PCV oil sucked thru the Throttle Body, close monitoring of your O2's and KR.
The safer bet is to extend your IAT up front into the Air Filter area, something water proof and away from the heat.
