Default Got Indy's w/GTR tips and Vortex installed

Well, it's finally done! What a difference with the Vortex and Indy's. I think it has completely changed the way the car feels and sounds. Getting the tips aligned is a bitch, but Ted at Valaya did a great job with it all. Also got the skid pad wheels for the front installed, and will soon have the frame savers done as well. Oh, and Ted also installed a heat shield to keep the transmission tunnel cooler (thank god!).

How's it sound inside the car at 65? Not too loud?

I'm thinking about the exact same mods, minus the Vortex.

I like the GTR tips because they fill up that empty space nicely.

I give the Corsa Indy's 2 thumbs up - not too loud, not too quiet, and it's a kind of exotic type sound vs. a muscle car sound. Definitely very quiet inside until you really get on it, otherwise almost like stock except for a bit of a growl. The GTR tips draw alot of attention. I've had more than the average number of people trying to catch up to me to get a look at what must be a different tips than they are used to seeing. No doubt not many Vettes running around with the GTR's, so they are somewhat of a novelty. Too bad I am clueless how to post pics, otherwise I could post some when I get them back.

After living with it for a week, I can say that it's just about perfect! Although I am worried the way I'm always looking for reasons to wind it out, and it really does rev much easier (I presume due to the Vortex). There's no question that the Corsa/Vortex combo let a few more ponies out into the corral. I have gone through tunnels and underpasses at 4,000+rpm, and it's a hoot! Probably scaring the hell out of everyone too. (the Vortex and carbon fiber air bridge look really cool underhood too).

You'll love the Corsa's, and I can now also highly recommend the Vortex too!

TC
