Default 99 Door Lock Actuator

My passenger side door lock actuator froze up on me. It would not lock with the key, key fob, automatic door lock button, or via the inside lever manually. I pulled it out and started looking for parts and noticed that mine has an extra electrical connection that I do not see in any one listed online (even GM parts websites listed for my year). I believe it is for the passive door lock system but I am not certain. Does any one know where I can get the this exact door lock actuator or if I can just get an actuator with out this third electrical connection?

Also I am just looking for the actuator and not the door latch.

Here is a picture of the third electrical I am talking about:

Thanks!

Since I was not able to find the exact actuator I went ahead and purchased the knockoff actuator from Rockauto. I will post my findings when I get it and install it.

So good news. The generic part works! I have not tried to see if the passive feature works but I don't ever use it so I am not concerned.

I was not able to find any good write ups on how to replace the door lock actuator so I figure I would write one up.

1. Pull off door panel per the follwoing website instructions

http://www.vetteessentials.com/instr...or_handle.html

2. Remove the three torx screws that hold the latch/ actuator

3. Unplug electric plugs (2-3 depending on year), unclip rod, and unhook key lock rod as pictured below

4. Remove screw, unclip door handle and the whole assembly can be removed

5. Unhook handle and lock rods

6. Remove the two small torx screws that hold the actuator to the latch mechanism.

7. Install new actuator to latch. The new actuator can be purchased from Rockauto for around $25. Dorman part#746011. (part number may not come up through the drill down menu for your year and model, but this part number is an as equal for AC Delco part number 25664287 that I got from a Chevy dealer.

8. Reinstall opposite to dissassembly instructions
