Just converted my low beams to 35w HID. They light fine however, the buckets will not retract when I turn them off. The only way they will go down is to turn on the high beams and then turn them off. I know this is a common problem but I can't find the fix anywhere. Any help would be appreciated.
This has come up several times in the past few weeks. I have the JW resistor on my HID conversion and it works fine. Problem is that when you now go to the JW website the resistor is no longer offered, or at least I can't find it on the site. May be JW can chime in and let us know if it is still available.

Sorry we stopped offering them. They were not working too well with some of the kits C5ers are buying, and we stopped selling ours without a projector swap so they got cut from the line.

That's why mine never worked I always wondered. So what do you sugggest now?
You throw on the high beams, then shut the headlights off, and the pods will retract like normal. At least that's how it works on my C5 with low beam HIDs.

When i do that, i hear a noise up front unless i leave the high beams on. This is with the 55w ACA Bi-Xenon RadioFlyer kit.
