Default TCS 1291 -- DIC Code

Hi All,
My 2003 Convertible gave me this code the other day as a history code, along with the Service TC, Service AH message on the DIC. Last night, It came up again on my way home from dinner and the code came up as current and has been on.

The brake lights don't come on when I hit the pedal. Aside from the switch and fuse, is there anything else I should check?
