What Chris NJ C5 said, once it "sees" greater air flow it will compensate with fuel - the same way it does when new K&N is first installed. I read someplace to be careful not to over oil after cleaning. This could decrease flow, and dirty up a.i.t. sensor, etc.

Thanks Chris. I did not reset and also did not see any gain but I guess it needs some time to learn if any increase is possible.
To those that could not figure out what I was asking the tope
is the begining of the sentence and you really need to put the topic together with the subject :jester That is what the dots are for in the sentence.

 I hate it when that happens!
Seriously though, check your MAF wires, etc. Sometimes a little too much oil on the freshly cleaned filter will wind up on the wires and inside surfaces. If you do need to do a little cleaning, Q-tips soaked in alcohol and VERY carefully used, will clean them off. As far as re-learn, what the others said is true. :)
