'nother fuel sending unit question
i have a strange one that just started. if i fill up the tank only goes up to one notch below full and stays there...for awhile actually before it comes down and appears to function well in the rest of the range.
drove 180 miles with one pretty good backroad run and a few 1/4 mile pases and it took 13gal to fill so both tanks have to be working. the level reading just doesn't seem to be accurate when full.
do you need a tech2 to scan sending unit voltage or is there another way ?
also were any recalls ever issued?
looks like ac delco is producing the sending units for 80 or so but i haven't looked into where they are or how much trouble they would be to change
no current DTC codes, only historical was about the power seat which i reset
