I'm doing an LS7 clutch upgrade to my 99 FRC and I upgraded to the 04 clutch master cylinder. The unit I got was complete with reservoir, master, and braided line leading to the slave...it's even bench primed. It fit in fine with the exception of the top of the master - the rubber hose that runs down from the reservoir looks pinched against the firewall where it goes into the nipple on the top of the master. You can see where the hose is creased with a horizontal white mark in the attached photo. The hose seems a little to short too. I'm not sure how much fluid needs to be able to flow during normal or track use, but I'm assuming cutting the flow of the hose in half isn't good. Has anyone else run into this problem?
it is 120 degrees out of position. take it out, and roate it 120 degrees and reinstall. there are 3 tabs that lock the master in place on the bottom of the clutch pedal assembly. you just need to turn it 1 more tab over, which would result in a 120 degree turn.
