Looking into replacing my Yella Terra 1.7 with a set of 1.8 rockers. I am curious if anyone has made this change and has any side by side comparison dyno numbers or 1/4 mile time differences between the two?
I am getting ready to install my new Mamo ported Fast 92 and LS2 throttle body and want to install these 1.8 rockers at the same time(if I will benefit from them) before I get it tuned! Thanks in advance!
Should bump the power up. I would guess, maybe 10hp. Make sure your springs can handle it and your PTV clearance is ok. If your cam is more than .620 lift, you may be asking for trouble. Hopefully someone will post that has been there done that. You should post your cam specs, valve springs, pistons and head gaskets to get better answers.
P.s. if you do change, pm me ill take the 1.7's
Cam is Lingenfelter gt1 (.218-.229, .563-.563 113 lsa), comp 26928 springs, stock ls1 pistons, GM mls head gaskets, stock 243 heads. The 1.8 rockers will bring my lift to .596-.596.
