steering column lock
not your typical steering column lock thread
does this mean that my 03 has never had the GM recall done to my steering column lock? it is a 03 mm6 with 130K miles. i have put 25k on it since i bought in nov 2011 with no issues.

thanks 8vette7 i was hoping that you would chime in. the report that i posted was copied and pasted from an email that gene sent me. when i pasted it, the format changed to what you see.
the date 4/19/04 on the orig format shows as "Release Date". i took that to mean as the date of the recall. do you know what date that GM recalled these column locks? and i agree with you that it does seem to indicate that the service is "open"
