Proper differential housing to frame shiming procedure?
The body is 3/8' higher on one side in the rear and the frame is square with the ground. It is a different differential housing than what came in the car. I want to re-shim it square with the body. there are shims on both sides now. I want to remove the shims from the high side and add to the low side. Do you put equal shims on the low side both on the front and rear bolts? Is that all you are looking for when you shim the rear or do you need to look at anything else like drive shaft alignment or something? this is a 04 C5Z
