Guys, I did the throttle body bypass this past weekend and leaked some coolant on the garage floor. I drove the car today(1st time since I did the mod) and my check engine light is now on. It didn't seem to lose that much coolant. I was curious as to whether or not this has happened to anyone else. TIA, Robby.
I can tell you that I did not feel any difference whatsoever so I just removed it and stored it away. If I see any hard data that it makes a difference I'll put it back on.
Guys, the codes my car showed were:
10PCM P1111 HC - Intake Air Temperature (IAT) Sensor Circuit Intermittent High Votage -C, &
10PCM P0113 HC - Intake Air Temperature (IAT) Sensor Circuit High Voltage -B.
I guess there must be a Sensot that I unplugged unknowingly. Any info on what I am looking for?
I had those codes on mine, and it was the wires going to the Intake Air temp. sensor. Very easy, just cut and splice back together. The IAT is on the air bridge.
Problem seems to be solved. Thanks to all who provided their helpful insight. I have not actually driven the car again, but I did let it idle in the garage. No more codes. I will double check after I drive the car again. :D
