WTF, I just got the blower module replaced about 2 months ago because it got stuck in the on position, and its happening again. I shut the car off and the blower motor keeps running and blowing hot air into the car :mad Anybody else ever have this problem? I have no AC because I had to pull the fuse so that it wouldnt drain my battery. What's up with that GM? I gotta wait till next week when C4C5specialist can fix it again :mad
I talked to you a couple weeks ago regarding the same problem with my '97.
Replaced the blower motor control module and it fixed it. After hearing this I'm crossing my fingers that it won't happen again. Don't know why it would fail again so soon.
The part number for the blower motor control module is 52479971 and gmpartsdirect.com has it for $84 including shipping.
Thanx Mark, I made an apointment at the dealers to get it replaced again. I will let you know how it goes, I've been sweating my ballz off lately with this heat wave :mad
Hey Adam I hope it's not what I think it is either, cause then I will have to choose between the 2 :cry
I think that the module got a little condensation from me spraying the car in 90 degree wheater. that is the only 2 times the fan motor stuck on was when I srayed the car and then put the ac on afterwards  I know I have nitrous lines running right ontop of the control module, but if there are no leaks why does it happen?? I'm not choosing between the two :nonod:
