Default Power steering bushing replacement

I cannot get the power steering unit to raise up enough to pull the rubber bushing out to replace it with DRM's metal one. Anyone else have the same problem? TIA

I had a bear of a time getting the bushing side up when I was pulling my rack out. On my car, the bushing was wedged in there REALLY tight. I ended up wedging a flat chisel directly under the mount and used wooden shims to gradually lift the mount straight up. I tried to pry it up with a pry bar but it would just twist the mount between the two "ears" of the cross member.

Thanks for the info. I gave up today as my light gave up the ghost. I am going to try to move the AC lines which are right above it and give it another go tomorrow.

I am just about done with this project, the Tabs that hold the rack in place must have some metal memory as they closed up as soon as I lifted the rack up.

I had to make a spreader using a stud and 2 nuts, kind of a pita.

Made a 1 hour job take 6 plus hours under a span of a few days,
