My car is making a noise during left hand turns that sounds like a bent wheel or flat spotted tire. I have since replace my tires and changed the front right wheel bearing.
The car is a 2003 z06 with around 100k on it. Someone told me it could be the rack and power steering pump. Do you guys have an idea?
For starters....get it off the ground, all fours. Grab each wheel first at
12:00 and 6:00 then at 9:00 and 3:00 and see how much give each wheel has. It should be very close to zero. Get back to us when finished. You may have another hub/wheel bearing gone south.

^ That's what ya gotta do. ^
If your right front bearing was bad, good chance your left front wheel bearing is bad or isnt far behind.
Also, can you isolate for sure if the noise is from the front or rear of the car?
Also I'm assuming its kinda a wah wah noise... Or can you describe it better?

I'll see if I can get it back up today. I replaced the front wheel bearing assuming that it was the cause of this noise/vibration.
For a description its like I said feels and sounds like a bent wheel to me. It's more of a thump than a wah. It's frequency is on point with the rotation of the tires. I can feel it in my feet. The steering wheel doesn't jerk or anything. I hope that helps. I have today off so when my wife goes to work I will look at it.

I think the key is: you hear the noise only when you turn. Thats a symptom of a wheel bearing with too much give in it.
