Questions about build.
I am new to the LS world and I have tons of questions. This is for my 2002 C5 with the LS1
I am planning on building my own turbo kit and I kinda need some advice on some parts. This is the route I am going. Single 76mm rear mount turbo, 1 3/4" headers, 1000cc injectors, dual walbro 255s, A1000 FPR with return, Manley 6.125 H beams, JE 3.905 pistons, Stock crank, Stock heads, 3 bar map. I may have missed some things but what I really need to know is what cam and valve springs would be the best for this set up. I have a 150 shot on my car now and will also be spraying with this set up as well. I was thinking that the COMP Cams XTREME RPM CS54-414-11 kit would suit this combination well. Please give me your advice. Thank you

I think you will benefit from more air flow. Have the heads at least ported if you can, but leave the chambers alone to keep the compression low for the forced induction. Also, 1 and 7/8" headers will be better for forced induction than standard 1 and 3/4" The less back pressure the better.
You are smart to choose a cam with larger exhaust duration for forced induction, but you can do a much larger cam and still run a turbo or supercharger set up. I am doing a 222/228 114 cam that will also see a supercharger in the future. Check out the 224/228r cam from texas speed. They even mention forced induction with that cam.
