Default Can this a/c line be repaired?

My line from the low side coming from the accumulator going to the compressor has a hole in it. I noticed I had no a/c and after I filled it up 2 years ago. I went to fill it up again and I could hear it hissing, I managed to get some of the heat blanket off and felt where it was coming from. It's seems to be a black rubber hose, now can I take that to a shop and get it fixed or do I have to buy new? Here is what mine looks like. I got the pic off ebay since it's still on the car

Personally, I would just replace it and not try to repair, but whether it can be repaired may depend on where the hole is...
Is it in the line, or one of the connections?

it's in the line you see where that silver heat shield blanket is..It's under that and has a hole in it. The blanket protects the hose from the heat. Not sure how it got punctured

You could fix it if you could find a place to cut the crimps off the line and crimp a new piece of hose in place. Don't bother trying to patch the old rubber. It's worn out and it'll just fail somewhere else if you patch it. Easiest and best is to just replace it. Make sure you exhaust isn't too close to it, especially if you're running headers. I used a clamp to bend my right tight to the frame to get as much clearance as possible.

Yeah the headers where right up against it. Im going to the a hose shop should be a simple fix for them. Ill bend the line when I replace it. If it fails Ill just replace it. Thanks gents ill give a update when I have it done. I just took the damn headers off last week.

I got it repaired with a thicker and stronger hose for 45 bucks. I also had some exhaust wrap so I wrapped it in that. Putting it back together now.
