I would not think so. Neutral safety switch is supposed to prevent you from starting the car in gear. ie needs to be in park or neutral to be able to start the engine.
Have you pulled codes after the car stalls? Do not turn off the ignition when it stalls, just pull the codes.
I found my problem! I just tried something right now , my diablosport predator. When I started having problems I had been doing some adjustments to shift firmness, fan on/off temps . Apparently I adjusted something to where it killed the engine when I put it in drive. What I did a few moments ago was to put my stock tune (which was my dyno tune) back with all perimeters reset . That is what did it, kind of left me confused as to I have always adjusted my setting with my predator and never had any problems. Oh well, thank you very much 8VETTE7 for all your help!
I had the same problem. Cleaning engine bay and wham,as soon as I put in gear, stall. Solution I had to replace the Steering column lock motor. Cost over $500.00, Parts and labor. Good Luck
