Default LED Reverse Light Problems

I have tried two different LED bulbs from supporting vendors on this forum.

Each time I plug them in, one of them stays slightly illuminated, even when my vehicle is not in reverse. It is not isolated to one side either. Both the left and right side randomly do this as I turn the key on and off or try switching the bulbs. The last LED I plug in is usually the one that lights up slightly.

When my vehicle is in reverse, they both light up as intended and work fine.

Not sure why one LED stays faintly lit up all the time? This happens with the headlights on or off as well, no difference. The vendors said they had never come across this issue before and were not sure how to help. One suggested putting in resistors to both reverse lights.

This does not occur with the OEM halogen bulbs, only when the LEDs are plugged in. Since there are no issues with the standard bulbs, I am thinking it must be something with the LEDs?

Any help would be appreciated, thanks and Happy 4th!

I had the same issue with mine.Found that one of the contacts on the bottom of the bulb wasn't making a good connection at the plug.I took some fine emory cloth and cleaned the contacts on both the bulbs and the bases and haven't had any trouble since.May be worth a shot.
