Hey guys, so I have a short throw on my car right now that had the factory **** on it (the square one with the top clip peice) and about a year ago I bought a c6 ****. Well the C6 **** has plastic threads and after a few times of taking it off and putting it back on I think it is stripped because it just spins in my hand now.
I definitly don't want to buy the same thing and have to replace it again, so I am wondering what options I have sticking with the stock shifter? Does anyone make a C6 shifter with metal internals? I can't find a shifter that locks into place, only ones that spin down with the factory shaft. Any help would be appricated! Thanks!
Spanky, that's the one that I have right now. The threads inside of that one are plastic and I ended up stripping them out. I am looking for something that I can secure (with a nut) and tighten down. Any other ideas? :S
