When I go to replace the plastic original end links, does it matter if I raise the car by ramps or by jacking underneath on the frame? I can do either, but I prefer jacking since I will be looking around for other things to see, and this gets me up higher than the ramps. I'm thinking that the load on the sway bar will be different one way from the other, and wondering if it matters. Thanks.

Reason: old man
i dont think the load on the wheels matters if you are using stock, non-adjustable end links. if you are using adjustable end links then they should be installed with the car sitting on it's tires and adjusted so there is no load on them.
You just need to have both front or both rear wheels either hanging or with the car weight on them to do the end links. Which way you chose doesn't matter.
Yep, non adjustable end-links can be installed any way you want to. Just get them tight enough! People are always getting clunking noise from end-links it seems.

Thanks that's exactly what I'm getting. Didn't mean to high jack your thread OP.
