Help replaced ebcm
For 2 month i have checked grounds,plug ends,fuses etc. Could not find the issue that caused codes P1571,C1277 & U1040.
I purchase a rebuilt ABS,installed rebuilt unit and drove about 10 miles. No lights on dash. Turned the car off,then restarted DIC said service engine,service active handling system.
The codes now have a H at the end,
P1571H
C1277H
U1040H.
Is there something else that I missed.

Just returned from reconnecting the battery.Car started.No codes. Restarted car. No codes.
I will test again in the morning.

Before I replaced the ebcm the codes would set with starting the car.
I will drive and as always ck codes with engine running. These codes have never lit the DIC or dash icons while driving.Only after stopping and restarting engine.
I just hope this cures the problem. A lot of threads on this subject.
The vendor would like my core within a few weeks. If repairable the core charge will be refunded.
After all the threads,C1277 is not repairable. I might just keep it. Hang it on the wall.

Went for a drive this morning. Started car every thing fine.Stopped for fuel,started car and Dic and dash lights up. Same as before.
Returned home and with car still running ck codes.Same codes.

There is one code BO432CH. Rear defogger relay circuit. I don't believe this has any thing to do with my issue.
Any ideas? About ready to sell the car.

ck fuses ok.
I have heard of people with the same codes cleaning their ing switch to clear codes.
Should I try this? A manual would not help me. Never used a meter before. Hard time with elect.
