Default Fuel filter problem?

I own a 99 FRC, 6 speed. Recently, I have been experiencing a slight delay in acceleration when shifting gears and stepping down on the pedal. Once I drive for about 15 minutes the problem seems to go away. Driving a steady speed on an extended trip is fine and no problems. Do I need to change out the fuel filter? What other solutions might I investigate?

Thanks for your help!

My experience with a plugged fuel filter is that your vehicle will lack power no matter how much throttle you use. If it is really plugged, it can be almost impossible to reach highway speeds.

My thoughts would be dirty injectors, dirty MAF sensor, air filter. Start with the easy stuff first

I just cleaned the air filter. How to clean injectors, sensor? Sea Foam? How much per tank of gas? Thanks
