Ok, here you go. I called Ed's office -- talked to John Wednesday afternoon. He advised me to fill out the order form from the website. I called him back Thursday morning and faxed it to him about 9 AM. I told him I was really eager to get the car done before the weekend, so he told me he'd try to squeeze me in today. My secretary drove the car to Tulsa (2 hours from Fayetteville, AR) and they got the car done in less than one hour. She got back to my office by 3:30 that very day!
Outstanding customer service, to say the least!!
Oh, and BTW, the programming kicks some major butt. I couldn't believe the difference in the shifts and overall power. I even skipped putting in the Transgo -- the 1-2 shift is awesome! :jester

Re: Ed Wright and 3.42s -- my experience (daesoph)
Congrats to your happiness and new mods and i totally agree that you can't beat Ed Wright for knowledge, performance and customer service! Why so many poor souls suffer waiting for their powerloaders and have their summers ruined, when they could just eat 500.00 and decide to go to Ed Wright for 5 day turnaround via the mail or better yet, if you could go there live on his dyno, is beyond my belief. I would think that the price of eating 500.00 vs. not having your vette tuned and running properly all summer and for months is welll worth the 500.00 price for those waiting forever on Steve Cole!
Otherwise, find yourself a local pro-tuner near you like i did, Brian of BV Performance, and let a local tuner who you have confidence in dial you in asap! Didn't mean to ramble just my 2 cents!

Re: Ed Wright and 3.42s -- my experience (Nitrovette)
I am headed to Tulsa on Sunday for a Monday dyno-tuning session with Ed Wright. I hope to have a great experience there myself and have one beast of a car when I he gets done working his magic. The price is $650, though...still worth it.
Re: Ed Wright and 3.42s -- my experience (daesoph)
You did good....:yesnod: Ed Wright knows the customer is waiting. Unlike some other programmers we know that don't acknowledge their loayal and patient customers. You will love the program.
P.S. I would buy the secretary lunch for driving the two hours.... :D
Re: Ed Wright and 3.42s -- my experience (vstella)
My secretary was indeed delighted to make the trip! She thought I was kidding at first -- she called her relatives and was like "guess what I'm doing today!"

It does make easier Al when you can drive over to Steve's shop like you do. :) Everyone else is his prisoner!
And yet, I still wait. Ha, Call me, call me, call me!
I can't drive it normaly, but it does run.
I have complete all the mods I am going to do, tuning is the last piece to the puzzle. I want the Powerloader Box, just in case the PCM needed to be replaced. The only thing I probably will do, is purchase some ET Streets.
Re: Ed Wright and 3.42s -- my experience (wallstAL)
I finally gave up waiting for Steve Cole and my re-program. Pulled the PCM last night and send to Ed today. You know it really pisses me off that I paid twice for the same damn thing but who knew? To add insult to injury, TTS cashed my check for the reprogram already ($75). When I told them I may cancel the order for the reprogrammed powerloader and use somebody else they replied that if I want the unit back I will need to pay for the shipping. Thats nice, open the boxes they receive for the reprograms and cash the checks, but don't deliver on the product.
So anyway, enough of this B.S., I will not be fooled again. Ed Wright and Fastchips will be the only option from now on.
